About Us

Hello! We are Streamside Saint Bernards in the Western Catskills. We have a new litter of Saint Bernard puppies that will be ready for their new homes on March 20th!
The puppies in this litter are from AKC Registered parents, Winifred Wood Dam, and Reverend Moose, the Sire. the litter can also be registered with the AKC as they are purebred Saints. Winifred has been a fantastic mother and we have been painstaking about giving her all the best quality foods and supplementals to ensure she and her babies are all of optimal health. We are delighted with all 9 of these little puppies with their funny and specific personalities and can't wait to find the perfect fit for all of them in a loving home, although we will certainly miss them. Starter kits will be available with some of the food they are used to along with AKC paperwork etc.

Meet The Parents
Moose, our sire, was born on Valentines day of 2023. We adopted him March 31st when he was only 5 weeks old because the breeders had an unexpected situation that was taking them out of town earlier than at eight weeks. He was so small I used to bring him into the supermarket and put him in the small compartment where you keep your purse in the cart. To this day, some of the ladies who work there still ask me about how Moose is in the check out line. Partially his personality, partially maybe because we got him on the young side, he is pretty much the definition of a mama’s boy. He is fiercely loyal and charming boy. As he got a bit older and wanted a playmate we decided to get Winnie so he had a pal. Winnie was adopted a bit older at around 9 weeks and they have grown to be inseparable best buddies. Winnie is a very sweet and loving girl. Quick to give and recieve lots of kisses. She is a very good and natural mother, even trying to dote on our two pet cats. Moose and Winnie make a very handsome pair of Saints and fantastic companions. They have in turn created an amazing little clan of puppies with similar traits.

CALAMITY JANE (Female)
Calamity, on the other hand does NOT live up to her name. Calamity is all sweetness and sensitivity. If she could spend her whole day in my lap she would. She is most focused on the humans and what they are doing. She plays and has fun but she always has her eyes on her people. Her markings are a little lighter than the chocolate brown of most of the rest.

BUFFALO HEAD (Male)
ADOPTED
Buffalo Head has a really big head and big paws. He also has a lighter brown color than the dark chocolate. He likes to play but he’s big and gravity takes over. He is usually the first to poop out and take a nap. Hes very sweet and loves a long belly rub.

LULU (Female)
Previous litter - approx. 8 months old
ADOPTED
Lulu is the littlest with big round eyes like her father and a face that makes her look like a baby bear. She is soooooo sweet. Her favorite thing to do is lick your face and give you playful bites on the nose. She is also tougher than she looks and likes to get in there for playtime like the rest of them. She is sneaky and hides under furniture that the others are too big to get under to ambush them from underneath.

MOO (Female)
ADOPTED
Moo is the biggest of the girls. She has losts of chocolate and white in patterns that remind me of dairy cows. She is very playful and the first one to get in on any opportunity to have a wrestling match with her brothers and sisters.

SNOUT (Female)
ADOPTED
Snout has very classic Saint Bernard markings with a nice sized mask. She also loves to play with her brothers and sisters and loves tug of war with a leash they keep pulling out of a shelf.

SKIPPY (Male)
ADOPTED
Sklippy is the littlest of the boys and the most handsome of them. But I’m not sure I would call him the runt because he has been catching up to them very fast. He is not afraid to play fight hard with the biggest ones but he also really loves to come in for a nice snuggle with his human buddies.

NEIL DIAMOND (Male)
ADOPTED
Neil is a big boy and he LOOOOVEESSS to play. He likes to ambush the humans and bite at there shoes (he’ll grow out of it. All the poor guys are teething right now) when he gets tired he tries to squeeze himself underneath our chairs but hes really too big and he gets stuck and starts to cry :)

ZAZA (Female)
ADOPTED
Zaza has markings that are very similar to Snout. Very classic and beautiful. She toggles between playing with her buddies, and always checking in with the humans and seeking some love.

GRUMBLE (Male)
ADOPTED
Grumble is a mischievous and curious little guy. He is the one who steals the leash from the shelf every time he’s out and drags it across the room looking for any takers on a game of tug of war. These days he’s fast and feisty but when he’s was smaller he was always begging me to pick him up and put him in my lap.

SWEETIE BABY (Female)
ADOPTED
Sweetie is the most petite of the girls with a gorgeous face and mask. Personality wise she is like Zaza. She goes in to play hard but she needs to check in with you and make sure that you are ok and vice versa. She lives up to her name in every way. She’s going to be a really beautiful Saint.
